Justin Chinchen

Owner & CEO

Justin is the owner and CEO of ITS Food Consulting. With a culinary background and chef experience of 25 years, Justin has spent his entire career in this industry, spreading joy through food and beverage. In his early thirties he created his own product line of BBQ and hot sauces, which then led him to co-packing products for others. After 10 years co-packing for hundreds of clients and with his experience in the food industry, he decided to transition into consulting and development. Justin loves creating and bringing to life new products, from Inception To Shelf with people from all over the world from all walks of life. In his spare time, Justin has many hobbies, including hiking, rock climbing, and fishing. He likes to spend as much time outdoors with his family as possible. And of course, cooking…

Kellie O’Brien

CFO & Project Manager

Kellie is the CFO and Project Manager, and has been working with Justin for over 4 years. She has done everything from working on the floor co-packing, handling the company financials, helping with the remodel of their facility, and marketing, to working alongside Justin meeting with clients, development, and branding. Kellie’s favorite part of her job is getting to meet the many people who come through their doors, and learning about their product and story. Outside of work, Kellie enjoys time with her family, usually doing something outdoors or crafty. She grew up by the beach and loves the water, so visiting family in California or Washington is always at the top of the list.

ISABELLE CHINCHEN

Lab Assistant

Isabelle is our Lab Assistant as well as the owner’s daughter. She has grown up helping with her dad’s company, so it just felt natural for her to come on board officially in 2020. As Isabelle learns the ropes of the business, she assists in the lab and kitchen as well as various tasks around the office, and helping to keep our facility looking nice. She just graduated in May of 2022 and has hopes of starting her own company someday…following in her father’s footsteps. Isabelle is very creative and always offers a unique perspective. She enjoys time with friends and family, baking and loves going on hiking and camping trips with her dad, as well as rock climbing.

Ian Gordon

Chef

Ian is our Chef and originally comes from Guadalajara, Mexico, where he lived for many years. He has worked in restaurants for 10 years, many of them fine dining, including a Michelin-star restaurant in San Francisco, California. Ian has always been interested in food, but he gets especially excited about the future of the food industry and where it is going. Individually he enjoys doing pop-ups and big events, but here at Custom C., we love having him as part of our team. He handles most of production, pays careful attention to detail, always has a cheerful and kind demeanor and keeps his kitchen clean and organized. When Ian is not working with food, he spends time with his wife as well as his fur-baby George, loves to go to concerts, hikes, bikes, and even participates in gravel bike races.
